Stuart Moore has been a writer, a book editor, and an award-winning comics editor. His recent writing includes Civil War, the first in a new line of prose novels from Marvel Comics, and Web of Spider-Man, which was featured in a half-page New York Times article. Stuart is also a partner in Botfriend, a graphic novel packaging company.
Stuart's recent comics writing includes Namor: The First Mutant (Marvel), The 99 (Teshkeel), and the original graphic novel SHADRACH STONE (Penny-Farthing Press). He has also written Wolverine Noir (Marvel), Firestorm and JLA/99 (DC Comics), the original science-fiction graphic novels Earthlight (Tokyopop) and PARA (Penny-Farthing Press), assorted Star Trek and Transformers projects (IDW Publishing), and John Carter: The Movie Novelization (Disney). He was a founding editor of DC's Vertigo imprint, and has also edited the Marvel Knights and Virgin Comics/SciFi Channel comics lines.
