Stuart Moore has been a writer, a book editor, and an award-winning comics editor. His recent writing includes Civil War, the first in a line of prose novels from Marvel Comics, and two stories for Amazon's Kindle Worlds program: X-O Manowar: Noughts and Crosses and Shadowman: Sunshine and Shadow. Stuart is also a partner in Botfriend, a graphic novel packaging company.
Stuart's recent comics writing includes Namor: The First Mutant (Marvel), The 99 (Teshkeel), the original graphic novel SHADRACH STONE (Penny-Farthing Press), and Web of Spider-Man (Marvel), which was featured in a half-page New York Times article. He has also written Wolverine Noir (Marvel), Firestorm (DC), the original graphic novels Earthlight (Tokyopop) and PARA (Penny-Farthing Press), assorted Star Trek and Transformers projects (IDW), and John Carter: The Movie Novelization (Disney). He was a founding editor of DC's Vertigo imprint, and has edited the Marvel Knights and Virgin Comics/SciFi Channel comics lines.
